EcoSea Pizza

A healthy, allergen free pizza with a seaweed base, topped with tomato sauce, roasted red pepper, chestnut mushrooms, courgette, red onion, black olives and vegan cheese

This pizza uses a low impact product from the sea, dulse seaweed is high in nutrition and can aid in reducing climate change. The base also includes gluten free flour and xanthan gum for binding, this reduces the amount of allergens in the base. The toppings include roasted vegetables such as peppers, courgette, olives, mushroom and onions it is topped with vegan cheese. There is a tomato sauce in between the base and the toppings, giving a traditional pizza flavour. The pizza as a whole is completely allergen free compare to the EU allergen regulations and is vegan. A vegan lifestyle is said to have a reduced carbon footprint due to the lack of animal produce. This is aimed at those under the age of 35 as they eat more continence foods due to busy lifestyle. The cardboard packaging is recyclable and made from recycled cardboard, which further reduces the global footprint. Nutritional benefits of the product are that is low fat, high source of vitamin C, low salt, 1 of your 5 a day.
