Genther is an ecological beer with pronounced coffee flavours that perfectly matches with dessert

Genther is a very innovative beer product due to the use of new ingredients (bio-caramel and coffee flavours) and its extraordinary taste. Ordering beer instead of wine during diner is becoming more and more popular in Belgium. Every dish is combined with a kind of beer that is complementary with the flavours of the food. Currently, most beers that are being served with desserts are rather sweet and have a high alcohol percentage. In contrast, Genther is a bitter and light variant that easily can compete with coffee or tea after dinner. The concept Beer4Dreams is sustainable for many reasons. Mainly, it is a valorisation of rest beers that have off flavours. This results in a reduction of waste. Our final goal is to sell Beer4Dreams as a concept to existing breweries for economical and ecological reasons. When Beer4Dreams is sold as a concept to the individual breweries, there is no need to build a new production plant, the packaging and distribution can be incorporated in the existing infrastructure of the breweries. There is also a great reduction of transportation, energy and water cost because the ingredient that is needed in the largest volume is already present in the brewery. The impact on the environment is reduced. Only a small volume of Genther as a product will be produced for marketing purposes.
